“Mockery of the sport,” Bill Haney calls for lifetime ban after Ryan Garcia failed B sample drug test

Ryan Garcia‘s professional boxing career still remains ambiguous. The most polarizing figure in the sport has tested positive for Ostarine in both his A sample and B sample drug tests. However, Garcia continues to maintain his innocence, claiming he was set up and that he didn’t do anything wrong. Many people have been debating his innocence, but the young boxer is guilty, according to Devin Haney and his father, Bill Haney.
Garcia’s usage of the PED Nandrolone was cleared after the A sample was tested again. Subsequently, the A sample showed that he had Ostarine in his body, which caused the B sample to be inspected. As such, the B sample also showed the same, which has caused the situation to become more serious. Initially, Haney’s team were demanding that the April 20 fight become a no-contest, but Bill has changed his mind.

Now that it has been confirmed by the VADA that Garcia used a PED, Bill believes that he should be banned from the sport. This is because, according to Bill, the young boxer took the drugs and the test knowing what he did.
This, of course, has caused the sport to be viewed in a negative light because of this controversy. Hence, given the situation, Bill believes that Garcia should face the consequences of his actions. Subsequently, Garcia maintained that he was set up by Haney’s team.

Bill has been actively speaking about the situation since before the B sample result came in. This was seen when he was posting countdown videos for the awaited drug test result. Hence, after the results came back positive, Haney’s father did not mince his words about anyone, including Garcia’s parents.
In the video, Bill addressed Ryan Garcia as ‘Frankenstein’, which suggested that he does lab experiments. Furthermore, he called out Henry Garcia and his wife for the positive drug test. Bill also remarked on how they planned all of this the entire time.
Beyond suggesting that they planned to cheat, Bill also discredited Garcia’s recent hair sample. According to KingRy’s legal team, his hair sample drug test showed no sign of any substances. However, Bill believes this is a lie, especially since nobody from his team was present for it.
