Ryan Garcia has been under the spotlight ever since the Devin Haney fight was announced. This could be seen in his antics throughout the buildup to the fight. Furthermore, he was able to beat all the odds by winning against Haney, who had remained undefeated throughout his illustrious career. However, his victory has now been questioned after he tested positive in a drug test. As such, while Garcia claims that he is innocent, Haney’s father, Bill Haney, does not.

Garcia had tested positive for the banned substances Ostarine and nandrolone metabolite. Subsequently, after further tests were conducted, it was revealed that he did not test positive for the second banned substance. However, Garcia still has to provide a B sample of his urine to clear his name since he has still tested positive for Ostarine. Amidst this, Bill has now started a countdown for Garcia’s second drug test, which will happen on May 22.

Bill uploaded the video to his social media, and it is quite clear that a lot of thought and effort was put into it. Furthermore, he sat inside his car and mentioned how he wasn’t on the ‘Garcia pack’. This was a reference to Garcia’s new diss song, ‘Haney Pack’, and is a part of their back-and-forth.Β

Furthermore, Bill appears to be trying to highlight Ryan Garcia‘s drug test by starting a countdown. This is because it can cause the fight to become a no-contest. Hence, if that happens, Haney will remain undefeated even after his complete beatdown.

Ryan Garcia wants a rematch with Devin Haney

Garcia has abandoned plans to challenge WBO and WBC light-middleweight champion Sebastian Fundora. As such, he has now expressed an interest in a rematch with Haney, whom he defeated on April 20. Since the fight was so one-sided, Garcia initially stated that he had no interest in the rematch.

However, this has now changed since his victory over Haney is being questioned. KingRy has firmly stated that he is not a cheater and won against The Dream fair and square. Now, he has expressed his intent to prove that he didn’t cheat by offering to fight Devin Haney again.Β

At the post-fight interview, Haney stated that he would like a rematch. Subsequently, after Garcia tested positive in the drug test, he retracted this opinion. As such, Haney stated that his opponent was a cheater, and did not want to fight him again.
