Billionaire LeBron James denies being in ‘private jet’ club with Michael Jordan and Shaquille O’Neal

Given that Forbes estimates LeBron James‘ net worth to be $1.2 billion, it is not surprising that he has several assets and other luxuries. However, it wasn’t particularly startling when a ClutchPoints Instagram post stated that he owns a private jet—a Gulfstream G280, apparently valued at $22 million. However, the post left James upset.
LeBron James declared the post to be “cap” after seeing it, a slang term for a falsehood or a false assertion. He uploaded the post on his Instagram Stories as well and called for his name to be taken off the list. In addition, the report asserted that other NBA greats including Michael Jordan, Shaquille O’Neal, and Magic Johnson also had private jets.

Interestingly, James’ request was promptly met. Following his Instagram Stories post, the slide with his picture and details regarding his purported jet was deleted. At the time of writing, he was still included in the post’s primary image, nevertheless. Interestingly, if James wanted to own a private jet, he could.
