WTA top star and Buffalo Bills heiress Jessica Pegula reacted to a hilarious revelation about the sport made by the team’s quarterback, Josh Allen. The American star is from a prominent business family, with her billionaire parents, Terry and Kim Pegula, having acquired the famous NFL team for $1.4 billion in 2014.

On November 16, the Bills came out on top against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with Allen scoring six touchdowns. During the sixth of those touchdowns, the renowned quarterback was heard laughing maniacally. The moment then gained attention from fans on social media.

On Wednesday (November 19), Bills then posted a reel featuring Allen’s viral touchdown and his laughter on its official Instagram handle. The reel before the touchdown video was posted with a powerful quote from the quarterback, which he gave last September. The quote highlighted the American football star’s toughness on the field:

This is a tough sport. It’s not for everybody. You’ve got to be a little sick to love this game. And we’ve got some sickos.

Pegula then shared the reel on her Instagram story, captioning it with three teary-eyed laughing emojis. Allen is currently the NFL’s all-time leader in total touchdowns among players aged 30 or younger. On Sunday (November 19), he helped the Bills seal a 44-32 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Pegula finished the 2025 season with a decent run, winning three tour-level titles and a 53-23 win-loss record on tour. Her best run in Grand Slam tournaments came at the US Open in New York, reaching the semi-finals.

Courtesy of excellent performances, she qualified for the WTA Finals in Riyadh and opened her campaign against Coco Gauff in the Steffi Graf Group. She won her opening match, but then lost to Aryna Sabalenka in the second round robin match.

She then went on to claim a straight-sets win over Italy’s Jasmine Paolini, and that helped her secure her place in the semi-finals, where she failed to beat eventual winner Elena Rybakina in three sets.
