(Video) Bills Josh Allen debuts an outrageous ‘chest pass’ to Dalton Kincaid in win over Lions
Bill's QB Josh Allen almost had three passing touchdowns against the Detroit Lions, but it wasn't meant to be as the referee witnessed a foul right before he finished the move.

Josh Allen nearly completed back-to-back games with three passing touchdowns if it wasn’t for the referee. The Buffalo Bills quarterback once more was in NFL MVP-level form when they traveled to Detroit to play the Lions.
With just over two minutes until the final whistle, the Bills led the Lions by ten points and had the opportunity to increase it further. From third and goal, inside the Lions’ ten-yard line, Allen snapped the ball but needed to check back to gain some freedom inside the pocket.
Eventually, he stepped out of it to look for a pass. He found tight end Dalton Kincaid wide-open inside the Lions’ end zone and scored a touchdown.
That wasn’t the unique part because Allen has similarly thrown several touchdowns. However, what separated this particular TD from the others was the manner he released it.

Allen used both his hands to loop the ball over a Lions’ defender to find Kincaid. Jim Nantz rightfully branded the throw as a ‘chest pass.’
Referee disallowed Josh Allen’s chest pass touchdown
Kincaid was ready to celebrate his third touchdown of the year, but stopped short when he saw yellow flags on the ground. As it turned out, the officials spotted holding amidst the chaos.

The referee judged that center David Edwards illegally impeded the Lions defensive lineman, which allowed Allen to throw the ball. The drive ended with a Tyler Bass 41-yard field goal.
The Bills remain in the hunt for AFC’s first seed
The Bills were the favorites to win prior to the game, but nobody predicted it to go down to the wire. Both Allen and Lions QB Jared Goff played their socks off on the night, but there can only be one winner.
The night began with Josh Allen scoring back-to-back rushing touchdowns in the first quarter, and with a blink of an eye, the Bills took a 35-14 lead midway through the third quarter.
Allen set up running back James Cook for two touchdown runs, which increased his season’s tally to 13 touchdowns (three times he has scored multiple touchdowns in a game this year) and then threw a three-yard pass to wide receiver Khalil Shakir. He added another in the fourth quarter, finding Ray Davis for a 5-yard TD.

Goff kept pace with Allen. He found Tim Patrick early in the second quarter and then made the highlight of the Lions’ day by setting up offensive tackle Dan Skipper for a 9-yard touchdown pass. In the third, Goff hit WR Amon-Ra St. Brown for 66 yards, which was the Lions’ longest play in the fixture.

Detroit running back Jahmyr Gibbs, who had 8 carries for 31 yards, caught a 12-yard pass and then scored a one-yard walk-in touchdown to give the Lions a fighting chance. After Allen’s to Kincaid touchdown was disallowed by the officials, Goff reduced the score further by locating Jameson Williams inside the Bills’ end zone with barely twenty seconds left on the clock. Goff finished with five touchdowns and was just six yards shy of 500 yards.
Allen, on the other hand, threw 23 completions for 362 yards, 2 passing touchdowns, and 2 rushing touchdowns. The Bills improve their record to 11-3.
