The Buffalo Bills have gone through a major revamp on offense this off-season. Right from firing offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey midseason to replace him with Joe Brady to trading Stefon Diggs to the Texans and starting afresh by drafting Keon Coleman in this year’s NFL Draft, it’s the dawn of a new day in Buffalo.

As Joe Brady gears up to take over his new role, there is a renewed sense of optimism within the organization. After all, he was the primary playcaller in the Buffalo Bills‘ victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Wild Card Round. At his latest press conference, the new OC expressed his firm belief in Josh Allen and his potential to lead this team to the Super Bowl.

At the end of the day, this is Josh Allen's offense. I think the way you kind of look at it is, what's going to slow your players down, right? There are certain things that Josh Allen's been doing for years here and the last thing I want to do is for him to have to think out there making some calls. So, if there's things that I feel like, from the learning standpoint, that would be easier for the guys to maybe learn, then we'd look at that. But other than that, if it's something that was going to slow 17 down, we're not changing that.

Allen finds himself in a unique position as he is on a team that grants him a higher degree of autonomy when it comes to consulting him on key decisions concerning roster moves and coaching decisions.

Joe Brady is focused on getting all the players on offense involved in the team’s success

The offensive coordinator believes that Josh Allen works best on his own. He prefers that his quarterback continue to operate the same manner in which he has done for years. The last thing he would want is for Josh Allen to start second-guessing the calls he makes on offense.

The primary focus for Brady will be to ensure that he comes up with strategies to get all of the players on offense involved. Last season, the team’s Super Bowl run did not end in the manner in which they had hoped for it to. In what was expected to be their best shot to beat the Kansas City Chiefs, the Bills failed to beat their arch-rivals, yet again.

With the notion amongst fans that the Bills’ Super Bowl window has shut, Brady faces a Herculean task ahead of him as he hopes to turn this offense into a formidable one. He remains optimistic about doing his job right and ensuring the Bills offense is better and stronger this season. With the addition of Keon Coleman and Chase Claypool, Allen has two new weapons to rely on this year.
