Buffalo Bills drafted rookie Keon Coleman due to his elite skills as a wide receiver. But even since his name was announced by commissioner Roger Goodell, the 2nd round pick has been sending media and fans rolling with his hilarious responses. He had another one in his backpack when talking about his relationship with superstar quarterback Josh Allen.

CBS Sports NFL analyst Bryant McFadden caught up with the rookie wide receiver to talk about how his relationship with his quarterback has been growing. Coleman revealed how it has been going on at the moment.

Yeah, every now and then, for sure. But you know, he pretty busy as a QB1...You know he like to golf, too...He shot like 70-something under or something like that. Look, I don't know all that type of stuff yet, but I knew it was something good, something to 70. I'm like, 'Yeah, I ain't golfing with you.' Man, I'm like, 'I ain't golfing with you. We can't bond over that. We got to go throw rocks at the lake or something. You golfing, golfing.'

Coleman suggesting he’d rather throw rocks with Allen at a lake was hilarious for McFadden to take. He knows his limits when it comes to golf. As Josh Allen is pretty good with the gold clubs, he is generally regarded to be one of the better golfers among those who ply their daily trade in the NFL. Therefore, it definitely would not be a great idea to try and bond if Coleman isn’t good at golf.

Keon Coleman‘s hilarious take on throwing rocks being an alternative to golf suggests he knows his limits. But he definitely wants to improve the relationship with his QB1 before the season starts.

Keon Coleman has to deliver from game 1

The two best wide receivers from last season are no longer with the Buffalo Bills. That is what pushed them to draft the former Florida State standout. He joins a receiver room with only Khalil Shakir the best of the lot holding over. Therefore, it is highly likely that Coleman will line up opposite Shakir as the new wide-receiving duo.

That is a major step up for the 21-year-old as he gets thrusted to deliver immediately. The Bills and their famous fans would not like them to waste any more of Josh Allen’s years. Their desire to be Super Bowl champions can only come about if they start winning games and develop this young core of receivers fast.

Keon Coleman is expected to be present in different facets of the game. Which is why he needs to develop that chemistry with his quarterback as soon as possible. The Bills’ resurgence rides on them.
