Billy Horschel struggled at the 2023 Memorial Tournament. He started with an 11-over 84, hitting only two greens in regulation. This bad performance placed him last in Strokes Gained: Tee to Green. Despite this, he shot 72 in the second round, demonstrating his perseverance. However, it was insufficient to make the cut.

The 2023 Memorial Tournament was held at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio between June 1 and June 4. The event had a total prize of $20 million. Viktor Hovland won his fourth PGA Tour victory. He finished 7 under par, with a final round of 2-under 70. Hovland won a thrilling playoff over Denny McCarthy, who finished at 7 under.

Yeah, I mean, It’s tough right now. It’s as I said, I mean, working really hard, trying to do the right things, and the team’s doing everything really well. It’s just.. it sucked today. I mean, didn’t hit it very good in pro-am, and even after the round, it wasn’t bad. I mean, on video it looks good. I do it, technically, it’s not that far off, but I’m not able to hit the cut the way I want, and I can’t get the ball to start left the way I want.
