Most recently, Novak Djokovic tied up with Pete Sampras after claiming his sixth year-end No.1 ranking. Further, the Serbian lifted his 17th Grand Slam title earlier this year and barely lost a match in 2020.

Djokovic called it a season after another successful run at the Nitto ATP Finals. Even though he didn’t proceed to win at this tournament and catch up with Roger Federer’s record, he advanced to the semi-finals of the coveted event.

After a lieu of astounding results, Nole has taken time off to recover mentally and physically. He has seemed exhausted on these ends ever since his final showdown at the French Open against Rafael Nadal took place.

Like he often does, Novak is spending time with his family and has retreated to the grounds of Serbia. Further, the World No.1 has revealed that a mountain on his homeland called ‘Tara’ stands to be majority of the reason of why he named his daughter that.

To make a note of these “hidden gems” in Serbia is quite the turn around from the county’s war-trodden condition which existed just 20 years ago. Herein, the streets of the country were being bombed and any food was hard to get a hold of. After surviving through such horrid times, Novak is constantly trying to showcase the beauty that remains in the vast lands of his beloved homeland.
