Bobby Lashley recently announced that he would be stepping away from the WWE ring. However, ‘The All Mighty’ is nowhere near retirement, as he expressed his desire to participate in a boxing match. The former world champion is not only a legendary wrestler, but also an established MMA fighter with boxing experience.

While speaking on The Laboratory with Plaz podcast, Bobby Lashley confirmed that he would be getting back into the ring. He revealed that his boxing opponent is already lined up for a fight in Las Vegas. Additionally, the former world champion expressed his desire to try, in his words, ‘ridiculous’ things in his life. He also shared his goal to run a marathon and win a jiu-jitsu competition in the future.

Lashley, along with MVP, were not included in the company’s internal roster and decided to leave the company. The All Mighty has stated multiple times that he felt more comfortable under Vince McMahon‘s leadership than under Triple H. He wrestled his last big match at WrestleMania XL, where he and the Street Profits defeated The Final Testament in a Philadelphia Street Fight.

I love to be able to push myself to do things that are ridiculous. I set goals for myself every day. What can I do? How far can I push myself? How much can I do? I want to run a marathon. I’m going to try to do that pretty soon. I’ll do jiu-jitsu, I’m going to try and win a world championship in jiu-jitsu.

Apparently, it turned out WWE did offer him a contract to re-sign, but he declined. Along with him, MVP also announced his departure from the Stamford-based company through several social media posts. The only remaining member of the Hurt Business in WWE is Cedric Alexander, who has just begun a new run on NXT.

Is Bobby Lashley finally leaving WWE after 6 years?

Given recent developments, it appears Bobby Lashley is finished with WWE and is not anticipated to re-sign with the company. This raises the question: where will he go next? AEW seems like a likely destination, but he has not yet received an offer from Tony Khan.

According to reports, The Dominator is also drawing significant interest from promotions in Japan. Lashley’s former Hurt Business partner, MVP, is also leaving WWE. In fact, he recently made an appearance at Bloodsport XI.

Vontavious Porter challenged Josh Barnett to a match after essentially confirming the expiration of his WWE contract. Additionally, there has been persistent speculation among fans that MVP and Bobby might reunite The Hurt Business outside of WWE, potentially in All Elite Wrestling.
