WWE veteran Bobby Lashley has been a major talking point among wrestling fans for the past few months. Fans were shocked when he unexpectedly left the Stamford-based company after his contract expired in August. Since then, The Almighty has kept his fans updated about his personal life by sharing videos of his intense training.

Recently, several reports suggested that his former faction, The Hurt Business, was going to reunite in WWE’s rival company, AEW. Now, amidst those rumors, Bobby Lashley himself broke his silence with a message on social media. He shared a collage of pictures featuring all the championships he has won throughout his WWE career and stated that his journey was far from over.

The message from the former WWE Champion hints at a possible debut in the Jacksonville-based company. Along with him, other Hurt Business members, such as MVP and Shelton Benjamin, could also join and reunite their faction in Tony Khan‘s company. After the 50-year-old veteran’s release, he expressed a lot of anger towards Triple H and WWE for not reuniting the once-dominant faction.

The trio, along with Cedric Alexander, won multiple titles. While Lashley became the WWE Champion, Alexander and Benjamin captured the Tag Team Championship.

However, the group was disbanded in 2021, which eventually led to the release of three out of the four members. The former Cruiserweight Champion is the only remaining wrestler who regularly wrestles in NXT and signed a contract extension recently.

Bobby Lashley expressed his gratitude towards his high school wrestling coach

The Almighty is widely regarded as a WWE legend and one of the strongest competitors in the company’s history. However, even the world’s strongest individuals have to start somewhere, and in their early years, a mentor plays a crucial role. Similarly, Lashley expressed his gratitude to his high school wrestling coach on social media.

The 48-year-old veteran took to Instagram and stated that he was eternally thankful to his high school wrestling coach, Laster. He said that his coach taught him everything important that he needed to learn as a kid. Lashley spoke about the sacrifices his coach made and the dedication he showed by being there all the time. The former WWE Champion felt truly fortunate to have had him in his life.

I’m so grateful for my high school wrestling coach, Coach Laster, he taught me so much as a kid,  resilience, discipline and a strong work ethic. He spent his summers driving all over Kansas with our team. Such unwavering dedication. I love this man and feel truly blessed to have him in my life and in my corner forever.

Speaking about the last few months before his release from the company, Lashley was paired with the Street Profits. Although fans felt they had great potential, things didn’t work out as well as hoped. Their most notable victory was at WrestleMania XL, where they defeated Karrion Kross and The Final Testament in a Philadelphia Street Fight.
