“Cristiano is faster than me” Bolt feels Ronaldo has surpassed him in terms of speed


Cristiano Ronaldo’s fitness routine is one of the best in the world. He has managed to keep his body in shape and injury free despite being 35 years of age. Moreover, he is single handedly helping Juventus win matches through his goals and assists.
This longevity has surprised Bolt because he had to retire in 2017 at only 31 years of age after being hampered my multiple injuries. Nevertheless, Bolt broke countless records in Athletics as he won 8 olympic gold medals and became the fastest man in the world by running 100 meters in 9.58 seconds.
Ronaldo is a super Athlete – Bolt

Bolt speaking to Marca Sport Weekend said, “For sure Cristiano is faster than me. For me he works out every day, he is a super athlete. He’s always on top of his game, he works hard and he is focused. Right now I definitely think he would be faster than me.”
Moreover, Usain Bolt has tried to enter into football after quitting Athletics and gave trials at Borussia Dortmund and Central Coast Mariners. However, he didn’t get selected for either of the teams despite having electric pace. Hence, he realizes the hard work Ronaldo puts in to keep playing at the highest level of football despite his age.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo will look to keep on extending on his career as he aims to be called the greatest ever in football history. The next immediate targets for Ronaldo will be to win the Champions League with Juventus and finally end his career with a flourish by winning the World Cup in Qatar 2022.
