In his 15 minutes of action during Tuesday night’s Los Angeles Lakers defeat to the Philadelphia 76ers, Bronny James went 0-for-5 from the field and failed to score again. After 44 minutes of play, the youngster is currently 1-for-16 on the season, ranking among the league’s least productive players. After the game, Bronny faced immense criticism from NBA analyst, Stephen A Smith.
He begged LeBron James to stop attempting to make Bronny a legitimate member of a squad that is seriously contending for the championship on Wednesday’s episode of First Take. He said bluntly that “we all know” that without him, Bronny wouldn’t be playing in the NBA. In response to this, LBJ’s longtime friend (cuffsthelegend) responded to Smith with a dig towards his early basketball career on Instagram.

Despite this, Smith is not someone who would back down from his recent remarks. Not only that, Smith has also been vocal about this situation earlier this season. He presents a strong argument. Even though LeBron James has done a great deal for basketball, the Lakers and the NBA may need to start treating Bronny seriously and admit that he isn’t yet ready for primetime.
Smith also stated once that Bronny needs time and is not ‘NBA ready’ yet. He is an unfinished product and blamed James Sr. for fielding him into the NBA so early. Given that, it remains to be seen whether or not the Lakers star reacts to Smith’s recent remarks.
