Las Vegas Sphere is Dana White‘s dream venue. The head honcho of the UFC has already announced his plans to make a spectacle of UFC 306 at the Sphere. As such, many fighters want to fight in the coveted venue. UFC bantamweight Adrian Yanez has now joined that long list of fighters.

Yanez had a tough 2023. After he started his UFC career with five victories, all bonus-winning performances, Yanez lost to Rob Font and Jonathan Martinez in 2023. However, he rebounded with a spectacular KO victory at UFC Vegas 92 and revealed what he wanted next: the venue and opponent.

Honestly, it's whoever wants it. I had a couple of guys call me out. You know, I know John Castadena has a really tough fight in front of him against Daniel Marcos. Daniel Santos, on the other hand, doesn't have a fight booked. Me and him in the [Las Vegas] Sphere? Yeah, I wouldn't mind that at all. I think that would be fun.

Moreover, Yanez stated Victory Henry looked good in his last fight and is also a potential opponent for him. The UFC has not announced a headliner for the PPV event in the Sphere. Nonetheless, the rumors are that Sean O’Malley and Merab Dvalishvili will headline UFC 306.

Yanez’s winning streak had gotten him into the bantamweight rankings, but the consecutive losses put him out of it. However, with the recent victory at UFC Vegas 92, he would be eager to get into the rankings in his upcoming fights.

Adrian Yanez defeated Vinicius Salvador at UFC Vegas 92

UFC Vegas 92 had several amazing fights. In the main event, Lerone Murphy battered Edson Barboza with the fight, winning the Fight of the Night bonus. Even though he had a lackluster performance, Themba Gorimbo had a stern message for the online haters.

Moreover, Khaos Williams scored a massive knockout over Carlston Harris. Before Murphy, Gorimbo, and Williams won inside the octagon, Yanez scored a spectacular knockout victory over Vinicius Salvador. Yanez dropped Salvador with a right hand and swarmed with ground and pound before the referee stepped in.

Yanez had lost his previous two fights via KO/TKO, but he flipped the script this time. He had lost his last fight via leg kick, and Salvador had the same game plan. However, Yanez quickly finished the fight before his opponent could execute his game plan. Salvador is winless in the UFC and has now lost three in a row, and his job would be on the line in his next.
