Miami Heat flipped the script on the Boston Celtics in game 2 of playoffs, leaving shocked fans to leave the arena early

After game 1 win the Boston Celtics were on a high going into today’s game 2. The fans also felt the same as they crammed TD Garden expecting another win. However, as resilient as a team can be, the Miami Heat pulled off an incredible win to tie the 1st round playoff series. The subsequent effect on the Celtics fans was embarrassing.

Without Jimmy Butler in the lineup, Boston Celtics fans were right to think that the Miami Heat did not have a chance against their league-leading team. However, the Heat flipped the script in game 2 with their 2nd half-juggernaut. Fans still hoping for a turnaround in the 4th quarter were also disappointed as the Heat maintained the lead. Eventually, with 40 seconds left to go in the game, Celtics fans left the arena. Television cameras captured the arena swiftly clearing out.

The Celtics take a lot of 3-point shots as part of their gameplan. Those 3-pointers were their undoing today as the starting 5 could only convert 30% of their attempts. The rest of the Celtics players could not even help Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum in the process.

The Miami Heat on the other hand used the three balls to their advantage. With multiple contributions from their players, the Heat held on to the lead for almost the entire second half. All of that must have been embarrassing enough for the Celtics fans to watch this loss unfold.
