The Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry boxing event had many fans excited about the fight card. The Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida was sold out as fans waited for the main event. However, the fight card also featured some great fights, especially the Lucas Bahdi vs. Ashton Sylve.
From the start of the fight, Ashton Sylve set the tempo of the fight and continued it for the rest of the rounds. His opponent Bahdi was losing the bout until he pulled out two quick shots and a perfect left hook. Sylve got too comfortable and didn’t expect that coming and was stunned by it. The fighter got dropped face first giving fans one of the nastiest knockouts of the year.
Sylve was down for some time while medical personnel attended to him, resulting in an unsettling scene within the arena. Sylve eventually got to a stool in the ring, congratulating Bahdi and walking off the floor on his own. The Jake Paul prospect suffered his first loss in his professional career. He came into the night with an 11-0 record and 9 knockouts.
On the other hand, Bahdi kept his undefeated run after scoring the biggest win of his career. Now after the win, Bahdi is hoping for a spot at the event later this year. It could be the one where Paul will face Mike Tyson in November on Netflix. It won’t be surprising to see Bahdi get another such an incredible knockout later this year.
