Amanda Serrano recently took on Katie Taylor for her lightweight titles and the fight was historic. Although Serrano lost the fight via split decision it was extremely close and received mixed reactions from fight fans.
Many believed that the decision was correct on the other hand, some said it was a robbery and Serrano should have won. The same thought was expressed by Serrano’s promoter and professional boxer Jake Paul.
After the fight, during the post-fight interview with DAZN Boxing Paul revealed that he thought it should have been a draw. He said :
“It was a draw at best. We thought we won, we thought Amanda won. Amanda performed amazing.”

Serrano recently shared a tweet made by DAZN Boxing on her official Twitter account. In the tweet, DAZN Boxing shared a clip of Jake Paul and Eddie Hearn standing ringside during the fight.
In the clip, Jake can be seen cheering for Serrano at the top of his lungs. The passion with which Paul was cheering was clearly visible and it was appreciated by many fight fans. Serrano had similar feelings towards the reaction as the fighter shared the clip and thanked Paul in the caption.
The fighter revealed that he loves her manager, Paul, for everything he had done for her. She thanked Paul as well as Nakisa Bidarian, the founders of Most Valuable Promotions for their frequent efforts. The American explained that the duo helped her to get to that stage and she just performed her best.
“Wow! I have to love my manager @jakepaul. He did this, not me. Him & Nakisa made this happen. I just performed ?,” wrote Serrano.
No matter what the result of the bout was, Serrano put out an incredible performance and the whole world saw it. Similarly, Paul as a promoter did his level best to hype the bout and gather the attention of more people. The fight will definitely go down as one of the great moments in the history of boxing.
