“I felt something powerful,” Brock Lesnar sensed the power of Muhammad Ali even without the latter speaking a word

Muhammad Ali has been one of the greatest fighters in the sport of boxing. His legacy transcended of the boxing ring and touched a lot of people’s lives. Brock Lesnar was no exception to this influence of the late boxer.
Just one month after the death of Muhammad Ali in July of 2016 Brock Lesnar was at an interview ahead of his fight at UFC 200. When the interviewer asked about the impact of Ali’s life on him Brock Lesnar narrated the first time he met Muhammad Ali. Brock said, “I got to meet Ali one time, and all I remember when I met and shook the man’s hand was…So I felt something powerful from the man. I watched pretty much all of his fights, I met him one time and he never spoke a word to me but I felt the presence and power from him.”
Brock Lesnar also explained how Ali’s battle with Parkinson’s disease was also a great source of inspiration. The former heavyweight champion battled Parkinson’s disease at the end of his life, and his health deteriorated over the course of the final 15 years of his life before he tragically passed away.

When Muhammad Ali made an appearance at WrestleMania one
WrestleMania is considered to be the pinnacle of sports entertainment. However, to lure more viewers, WWE invited many famous celebrities to the very first edition of WrestleMania. Among them, the most notable appearance was that of Muhammad Ali.
Ali served as a special guest referee at the inaugural Wrestlemania match in 1985, which took place at Madison Square Garden in New York City, USA. Hulk Hogan and Mr. T competed in a tag team match against Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff. Ali helped to maintain order throughout the match and even made his presence felt by taking a shot at Rowdy Piper.
However this year many sports personalities have made cameos in the wrestling promotion. Netizens have seen “Iron” Mike Tyson and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin fight it out. Fans also have seen basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal and the Big Show fight. Mike Tyson, James ‘Buster’ Douglas, Tyson Fury, Floyd Mayweather to Evander Holyfield are some of the other greatest from the sports of boxing to appear on WWE.
