Canelo Alvarez
Undisputed super-middleweight champion and pound for pound #1 boxer in the world, Canelo Alvarez is one helluva powerful puncher, and it definitely shakes you up when you take one. Alvarez, who has been a champion in at least 4 weight divisions, along with having all the belts at super middleweight, last fought in November 2021 when he defeated Caleb Plant for the WBA Super middleweight title.
Alvarez was called The Ring Magazine’s Fighter of the Year for last year while his trainer and longtime coach Eddy Reynoso was awarded the Trainer of the Year honours. Alvarez has now secured wins over the likes of Gennady Golovkin, Daniel Jacobs, Sergey Kovalov, Callum Smith, Avni Yildrim, Billy Joe Saunders, Caleb Plant, James Kirkland, Miguel Cotto, Amir Khan, Mathew Hatton, Shan Mosley, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and many more.

In a collaboration with Barstool Sports and ahead of his fight coming in May 2022 against Dmitry Bivol, Alvarez gave a glance of what it’s like to get hit with a gruesome body shot from him when in face-to-face interaction inside the boxing ring. For that, Michael McCarthy, aka ‘Large’ from Barstool, suited himself with body armour and a Go-Pro camera to show Alvarez unloading a powerful liver shot by setting it up with some intimidating punches beforehand.
