Dillian Whyte
Dillian Whyte will be going against Tyson Fury on 23rd April 2022 for the WBC and The Ring heavyweight titles. The fight will take place inside the iconic Wembley Stadium in London.
Whyte won the WBC interim heavyweight title after defeating Alexander Povetkin via TKO last year. This made him the default challenger to face ‘The Gypsy King’ for the title unification bout. Fury on the other hand, in his last bout defeated Deontay Wilder and successfully defended his WBC and The Ring heavyweight titles.
The fight between Fury and Whyte wasn’t that easy to hold at all. After finishing his business with Wilder, Fury wanted to fight with oleksandr Usyk for the heavyweight title unification.
But after the situation that took place in Ukraine, Usyk went back to his country to help his people from Russian invasion. Due to that, Fury had no other choice but to fight Whyte next.
