While talking about his early life as a kid, Dillian Whyte revealed that he wasn’t sure if he was going to be alive till the age 20. He thought he would probably be inside the prison for crimes such as murder, robbery etc. According to the fighters, the major reason for this was his harsh upbringing and unlucky events that took place when he was a kid.

Whyte also explained that his mother was a working lady and wasn’t there to raise him properly. He was alone but it helped him to learn various life skills such as being tough and strong. After everything that happened during his childhood, he never imagined he would be alive now as a boxer.

“I didn’t think I’d be alive. I’ve passed 20 anyway. I’ll be in prison doing charges for some murders or something crazy…. because of unfortunate circumstances the way I was brought up, the things I was exposed to and obviously the way my life was and other things….I was just abandoned basically but thought me a lot of things learnt to survive, learnt to be tough, learnt to be resilient so I never thought I’d be sitting here,”
said Whyte.

Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, Whyte is a living example of this saying as the fighter struggled throughput his life and finally made it. Now if he wins against, Fury it will be the biggest achievement of his life.
