When it comes to living and flexing the lavish and luxurious lifestyle, Floyd Mayweather comes first in the race. The retired boxer with a net worth of $1 billion has everything from supercars to private jets.
Recently, Mayweather shared a mini vlog of a day in his life in which he visited the LA Lakers game. “Money man. What I want you to do today is just bring the people. It’s about life. I wanna show people how I live and what goes on in my life,” said Mayweather.
After that, Mayweather went on to show his supercar with automatic doors and said that’s Floyd Mayweather’s style of closing the door with just a press of a button.
He then showed his private jet in which he went to attend the LA Lakers game along with his entourage. As expected, Mayweather got the best seats on the court side and enjoyed his time watching the game. During the game, Mayweather also met NBA analyst and commentator Stephen A. Smith. Both greeted each other and shared a few moments together.
Floyd Mayweather on owning his own NBA team
Mayweather is a huge NBA fan and is a good hopper himself. Mayweather often visits the games and is friends with many NBA stars such as LeBron James, Stephen Curry, etc.
In an interview during his exhibition bouts, Mayweather revealed that him and his team have been working on getting a NBA team and it will be soon. He said: “I have been communicating with some certain individuals about a NBA team. I have been taken to certain induction for the last six months. So that’s something I’hv been working on behind the scenes but I never came out publicly and talked about that. We’re working on getting a team absolutely.”
Buying an NBA team stacked with stars is definitely not a joke but when it comes to Mayweather he might be able to pull that off. Floyd has a lot of money,a good business mind and a passion for the sport. It won’t be surprising to see him making his own team in the upcoming years.
