“I am honoured”- Former UFC CFO Nakisa Bidarian rates promoting Amanda Serrano vs Katie Taylor over UFC operations

Nakisa Bidarian is honoured to work with Jake Paul and co-promote the fight between Amanda Serrano and Katie Taylor. On April 30, undisputed women’s lightweight champion Taylor will be going up against challenger Serrano and defending her belt. The fight will take place inside Madison Square Garden in New York. The hype around the fight is massive and the significance of this fight is immense.

Serrano is currently managed by Youtuber turned boxer Jake Paul who owns Most Valuable Promotions along with Nakisa Bidarian. Both Paul and Bidarian have been pretty consistent in promoting women’s boxing in the last six months. This has helped to propel the importance of women’s boxing in the world.

Recently, during the face-off between Serrano and Taylor, Paul was there along with Matchroom Boxing promoter, Eddie Hearn. During the face-off, Paul and Hearn were having their own banter, supporting their fighters and promoting the fight.

Helwani recently took to Twitter in order to share his recent conversation with Bidarian. The MMA reporter shared a screenshot and captioned it by revealing, Bidarian is not fond of interviews but while speaking to him Helwani asked him about the Tylor – Serrano fight.

The screenshot was of a text message from former UFC CFO Bidarian to Helwani. In the message, the former UFC CFO conveyed that earlier his highest achievement was to sell Pay-per-views for Lorenzo Fertitta. But now with Jake co-promoting the first-ever female main event at MSG was even more significant. Bidarian also explained that both Serrano and Taylor are making history and he is honoured to be a part of it.

“Until today, my career highlight was selling UFC for Lorenzo Fertitta. But to think Jake and I are promoting the first-ever event at MSG where two female fighters(boxing or MMA) are headlining, that tops it all. Amanda and Katie are making history, and I am honored to work for them,” wrote Bidarian.

It is indeed a huge event and the world is extremely excited to see it. And the event taking place inside the iconic MSG stadium just adds volumes to it. For fight fans, it will be a great showdown to watch.
