Gervonta Davis nukes Floyd Mayweather for announcing his next exhibition on the same day as his fight
Floyd Mayweather gets trashed by Gervonta Davis
Gervonta Davis isn’t the fighter with a show of his own on May 28th. Floyd Mayweather, the promoter of Davis is also fighting the same day but on a different card in a different place. Davis wasn’t too happy about this news.
Gervonta Davis is scheduled to take on Roland Romero on May 28th in a lightweight fight. The lightweight king is promoted by Mayweather Promotions. However, in the press conference for his upcoming fight, Floyd was nowhere to be seen. Instead of promoting the fight of Davis vs Romero, Mayweather himself announced that he will be returning to the ring on the same day.
Mayweather has decided to return to the octagon to take on Don Moore in an exhibition match in Dubai on May 28th. Davis was asked questions about the absence of Floyd which surely rubbed the fighter wrong. After the press conference, Davis put out a tweet which he later deleted. In the tweet, the boxer attacked his promoter and called him jealous.
“Lol, n**ga had a press conference today and fight on the same day..no matter how much money you have you can be jealous of a mf! Boy,” wrote Davis in his deleted tweet.
Floyd Mayweather reacts to his upcoming fight against Don Moore
Though Mayweather always is uncertain about his next move in boxing, the fighter always manages to book himself in an exhibition fight. The legendary boxer just can’t keep himself out of boxing. He will be taking on undefeated professional boxer Don Moore who is 18-0-1.
The fight is set to be held in Dubai on a Helipad. Don Moore has not fought inside the boxing ring since September 2016. He will be taking on arguably the greatest boxer of all time in an eight-round fight. The scoring system of the fight is yet to be announced. After this fight was booked, Floyd got a lot of backlash from critics and the legendary boxer has responded to them in a recent video.
The fighter has been training hard in recent times and even gave a sneak peek of his training to his fans via social media. Floyd compares himself with the likes of Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, and other billionaires in the recent response video.
