“Great respect for you” Jake Paul and WBC President discuss to improve women’s boxing

YouTube star Jake Paul has turned out to be a great advocate for women’s boxing in recent months. The YouTuber turned boxer has taken things a step forward with his meeting with WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman.
Jake Paul took over the world of boxing by a storm and is currently doing great things for the sport. From being a villain in the eyes of boxing purists, the YouTuber has managed to clean up well in front of them. Not only did Paul go 5-0 in his professional boxing career, but he also managed to start his own promotion by the name of Most Valuable Promotion.
One of the biggest names signed for his promotion is Amanda Serrano. Jake and Matchroom’s Eddie Hearn will be presenting to the world, the biggest women’s boxing match in history on April 30. Paul has been a great advocate for women’s boxing and has decided that Amanda Serrano and Katie Taylor will compete for 12, three-minute rounds, like men’s championship fights.
Jake Paul says his meeting with WBC President will take women’s boxing a path forward
“Great meeting with @wbcmoro …WBC has some exciting things planned for #TaylorSerrano. We also discussed a path forward on getting womens boxing to equal rounds and minutes to men. More to come…” wrote Jake in his recent tweet suggesting that the Taylor vs Serrano fight will be fought for the same rounds and minutes as men’s boxing.
The WBC president also responded with a tweet of his own and wrote, “The @WBCBoxing and myself has great respect for you and will be supportive of your efforts mu good friend ! Let’s get to work,” wrote Mr. Sulaiman in his tweet.
Amanda Serrano vs Katie Taylor is set to take place on April 30th at the mecca of boxing, the historical, Madison Square Garden. Both the women boxers will be headlining the DAZN pay-per-view event and the match will be brought to you by Matchroom Boxing x Most Valuable Promotions.
