Mike Tyson has had a lot of ups and downs in his life. He had terrific fights in the ring and lived with tigers in his yard. However, he’s also had some bad times, like being convicted of r*pe and going to prison for six years.
These days, years away from retirement, Tyson hosts a podcast called Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson. Hollywood star Tommy Davidson came on the podcast. Davidson had known Tyson for a long time and the duo talked about their visits in the prison. Davidson said,” He was in there by his f*cking self. Tryna figures out what happened. I didn’t want him to be in there thinking that nobody loved him. So I went there by myself. We had a nice long talk.”
Davidson is a well-known comedian and entertainer who has been in the limelight for many years. He often visited Tyson because Tyson needed someone to support him during one of the darkest times of his life. Furthermore, Davidson also visited Tyson to get his advice when he was having some issues of his own. Tyson always claimed that he came out with a much better peace of mind after his time in prison.
Subsequently, his close friend Tupac Shakur visited him while in prison. After serving only three years in prison, Tyson was released in 1995 and continued his boxing career. Tyson still has a close group of friends who were there for him during his tough days.

Mike Tyson talks about Gervonta Davis
In a Hotboxin with Mike Tyson podcast with Stephen A. Smith, they discussed Floyd Mayweather’s career and legacy. Mike Tyson and Smith agreed that Mayweather was a well-accomplished and successful boxer.
Subsequently, while discussing the future of boxing, Tyson mentioned Gervonta Davis, who is also part of the Money team. While Smith called Davis a “monster” in the ring with great skills, Tyson called him an absolute “bada**.” Furthermore, Tyson stated that he thought Tank was already the baddest guy in the sport. Recently, Davis rose to the top of the boxing world, especially after his victory over Ryan Garcia, further elevating his reputation.
Many people believed that Davis had the potential to succeed Mayweather and earn the same amount of money as him. Furthermore, Davis had been in jail recently after not following the home detention imposed on him.
