Former heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua returns to boxing on August 12th. He returns from a dominant victory over fellow heavyweight Jermaine Franklin in April. Joshua is paving his road back to the championship after back-to-back losses against heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk. He must put on another winning streak before challenging for the title again.

Joshua is a former two-time unified world heavyweight champion. His athleticism, power, and punching technique are well-known. He began boxing at the age of 18 and went pro in 2013. He rose quickly through the heavyweight ranks, winning his first 18 fights by knockout. Joshua defeated Charles Martin in 2016 to claim the vacant WBA (Super) and IBF titles. After that, he beat Dominic Breazeale, Eric Molina, and Wladimir Klitschko to unify the WBA, IBF, and WBO titles.
