“I wish him the best” Claressa Shields changes her opinion on Jake Paul, says he is “good for boxing”

Claressa Shields praises Jake Paul
It looks like Claressa Shields might not be mad at Jake Paul after all. The GWOAT of boxing has come to peace with the fact that the YouTuber might actually turn out to be a boon for the sport of boxing or women’s boxing in specific.
Not long ago, Claressa Shields and Jake Paul were beefing on the internet and the women boxer was not at all pleased with the YouTuber’s fighting. Shields also called out Paul for a fight and vowed to knock him out. Paul also tried to expose Shields by alleging she wanted to fight in the undercard of his event. Since then, Jake has managed to put on a record of 5-0 in boxing and even start his own promotion.
The Most Valuable Promotions is co-founded by Jake and managed the Amanda Serrano. Serrano is now scheduled to take on Katie Taylor in a mega-fight, which is bound to be the greatest women’s boxing match of all-time, thanks to Jake. Shields puts her beef aside and congratulates Paul for what he has done for Amanda and women’s boxing in general.

“I appreciate him,” says Claressa Shields for Jake’s recent ventures
“I wish him the best. What he’s doing for Amanda is great. I think that him getting involved in helping the fight with Katie Taylor is great for Amanda and Katie and it’s great for women’s boxing,” said Shields talking to TMZ Sports in an interview. Katie and Amanda are scheduled to box each other at the Madison Square Garden on April 30th.
“I appreciate him for that and I just wish him the best in whatever he does and just keeps his damn hands up, that’s it. The only beef I have with Jake is don’t ever disrespect me. He tried to kick me when I was down and also going to a new sport.”
Claressa made a move to MMA after her accomplishments in boxing. The GWOAT won her first bout in MMA but lost her second fight via split decision. The Paul brother went off on Claressa and it rubbed the fighter the wrong way. However, Shields is over that beef and wishes nothing but the best for Jake and his promotion.
