Jake Paul quips about a potential fight against Vladimir Putin in the latest post on social media
Vladimir Putin- Jake Paul
Looks like Jake Paul is not looking as much for competition as he is looking for fantasy, which now includes fighting polarising political figures as well. Paul, a Youtuber who turned professional in boxing in 2020, is one of the most searched athletes on Google today for his achievements as a boxer so far. Paul made his debut in January 2020 when he technically knocked out Youtuber AneSon Gib. Up till now, Paul has fought and knocked out former world champions of MMA Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley.
The world is in sheer hostility and in prayers for hoping peace as Russia has recently led a full-scale invasion on Ukraine in order to capture it. Everyone is showing their way of opposing the harsh steps taken by Russian President Vladimir Putin. Ukrainian boxers, former world heavyweight champions the Klitschko brothers, lightweight megastar Vasyl Lomachenko and current IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO boxing heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk have all signed up in the military to defend their birth nation.
Logan Paul is all in to support his brother Jake Paul in his fantasy fight
Paul has recently taken across both Instagram and Twitter to post a poster of a fantasy matchup between him and the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. In the captions, Paul wrote: “Big news. Tickets on sale next week. #PaulPutin brought to you by @TimJDillon promotions.” Meanwhile, Tim J. Dillon, the person Paul has tagged in the caption is a standup comedian and host of his Podcast titled The Tim Dillon Show.
Meanwhile, Paul’s elder brother, Logan Paul, who’s a much famous Youtuber as well but has fought only in exhibition fights so far in boxing, wrote a couple of tweets down below Paul’s tweet in comments and said: “he needs to be putin his place” and “he gonna be russian to the hospital after this”
For obvious reasons the fight is nowhere close to happening but this has certainly caught the fight community’s attention as to Paul implying condemning the actions taken by the government of Russia in its response to interacting with Ukraine. All over the sports industry, there are actions or gestures here and there taking place in order to support Ukraine in its purpose to fight back against this Russian invasion for peace.
What do you make of this comic yet bold move by Paul to mockingly challenge President Putin for a boxing match? Who do you think is right in the ongoing political rift between Russia and Ukraine? Do you think a peaceful resolution is possible anytime soon to end this international conflict?
