Reports: Judges named for Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte clash, no British judges per ‘The Gypsy King’s request

It looks like for the upcoming Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte, there shall be only a British Referee but no British Judges.

The referee, Mark Lsyon hails from Liverpool and this shall be his first world heavy weight title fight. The Three judges reported to preside over the match will be Guido Cavalleri, Robert Tapper, and Juan Carlosa Pelayo, who come from Italy, Canada and Mexico respectively.

Tyson who is set to defend his WBC Heavyweight title against Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium on 23rd of April. As per Tyson’s team’s request, despite both the boxers being British Natives, there shall be no British judges for the upcoming bout in light of the judging controversies that have come up.

Fury also has had a falling out with the British Boxing Board of Control, due to his substance his, evens out the scales according to his team. He now holds a license with the Nevada State Athletic Commission and will only be temporarily licensed by the Control for the fight.

The upcoming fight is Fury’s first appearance after going against Luke Jackson in 2018. After that he has only fought in the United States, most of them being held in Las Vegas. Further this will be his second defence title after having epically defeating Deontay Wilder.

Tyson paused his training for his fight against Dillian, to take to social media in order to assure fans that he was going to stop his British opponent. Further he reassures that he is training is going extremely well.

Fury has delegated his social duties to members of his team for the last month, while he focuses on his training, but he decided to give an update army of supporters as his fight date nears, assuring fans he is going to knock out Whyte.

Fans have taken to social media to question the promotion of the fight, as there lacks build up. Even Whyte decided to sit out press conference last month and has since refrained from taking any interview.
