“This isn’t a game”- Katie Taylor goes off on Jake Paul for his inexperience with ‘real fights’

Katie Taylor is all set to take on Amanda Serrano on April 30 inside the iconic Madison Square Garden, New York City. The fighter will defend her WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO, and The Ring female lightweight titles against Serrano. Taylor has been undefeated throughout her professional career and has 20 wins. The fighter has dominated everybody who came in her way and will like to retire at the top of her game.

Before the upcoming fight this weekend, both fighters had a face-off and Serrano’s promoter, Jake Paul, was present there. Paul took this opportunity to throw shade at Taylor and her Irish fans. He said

What I do have to say for the Irish is, I feel bad for y’all cause this is the start of Katie Taylor’s losing streak just like Conor McGregor.

Katie Taylor in a recent interaction with DAZN Boxing shared her thoughts about Jake Paul.

While talking about the YouTuber turned boxer, Taylor revealed that this whole fight business is not a game and Paul should not take it so casually. The Irish claimed that Paul has never been in a fight of such calibre and will never get that opportunity in future. According to Taylor, this bout is a real fight and Paul has no knowledge about it.

“As far as Jake Paul, this isn’t a game, this is actually a real fight. He’s never been involved in a fight like this and he never will be involved in a fight like this. So this is actually a genuine, real fight and he knows nothing about this,” said Taylor.

The bitterness between Taylor and Paul is pretty obvious after all that went down during the pre-fight press conference. What Taylor said about Paul does make a little sense as Paul has been associated with boxing quite recently. Even though he has an undefeated record, he has never fought an actual boxer according to his weight class. But the 26-year-old has been extremely successful in promoting the sport and gathering an immense amount of attention through his antics.
