Boxing legend Wladimir Klitschko in Russia’s Kill List alongside brother Vitali as 400 mercenaries sent to Ukraine

Wladimir Klitschko
It looks like boxing legends and brothers Wladimir Klitschko and Vitali Klitschko have to pay the heavy cost of defending their nation anytime soon, considering the way they are specifically targetted by a Russian private militia of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Vitali, former boxing heavyweight champion of the world who’s currently the mayor of Kyiv, the capital of the country Ukraine. Speaking of Ukraine, the country is going through a tough time as the Russian military forces have invaded the country and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has called to fight back.
In the wake of this, Vitali, who’s an integral part of the nation-building process for Ukraine due to his aforementioned post, had to subject himself to picking arms and fighting for his nation as well. It’s because of this that his younger brother Wladimir, who’s also considered one of the greatest heavyweight boxers of the 21st century, had to stand alongside his elder brother and fight for the same cause.
Vasyl Lomachenko and Oleksandr Usyk too came back for Ukraine besides Vitali Klitschko and Wladimir Klitschko

Now, as per The Times, Wagner Group, which is a private militia run by the closest allies of the Russian President, flew in mercenaries from Africa five weeks ago on a mission to decapitate Zelensky’s government in return for a handsome financial bonus. Information about their mission reached the Ukrainian government on Saturday morning and hours later Kyiv declared a 36-hour “hard” curfew to sweep the city for Russian saboteurs, warning civilians that they would be seen as Kremlin agents and risked being “liquidated” if they stepped outside.
Furthermore, it’s claimed the Klitschko brothers are on the list of Putin’s targets. The pair have been highly vocal about the current situation, using their platform to urge other countries to step in and help Ukraine in their time of need. [h/t SportsBible]
Ukraine at this point would need all the combat sports fanatics to keep the nation in their thoughts and prayers as many of our favourite sportsmen including Wladimir Klitschko and Vitali Klitschko are fighting for something that they hope would assure the independence of their birth nation. Alongside the legendary boxers, boxing prodigies and current megastar Vasyl Lomachenko and Oleksandr Usyk have also reported to the different regiments to engage in any potential military action for their nation’s army.
