In partnership with Daniel Puder, a former WWE Tough Enough winner, Mike Tyson has opened the Tyson Transformational Technologies Academy (TTA) in Phoenix, Arizona. Furthermore, this is a Cognia-accredited micro-school serving 6th to 12th-grade youth. Subsequently, Tyson’s TTA tuition is paid for through the ‘Empowerment Scholarship Account’ as well as other internal school scholarships.
Tyson’s TTA is a milestone in education and a milestone in philanthropy because it emphasizes the importance of emotional, belief, and physiological intelligence. Mike Tyson gives his name, image, and time to this school without asking for anything in return. Furthermore, while talking about the institution, Tyson stated:
It's important to me that I can share my life experiences to inspire the next generation. This new educational institution will build core values for which I am honored and grateful to be part of the Arizona community.Mike Tyson via TMZ

Tyson’s TTA emphasizes the importance of emotional, belief, and physiological intelligence, according to a press release about the school’s opening. Hence, it aims to be a leader in education that is dedicated to meeting the diverse needs of school students. Innovation, financial literacy, mentoring, and community engagement are just some of the ways the new educational institution, co-founded by Tyson, seeks to revolutionize education.
This bold initiative reflects Tyson’s vision to deliver high-quality education and personal growth opportunities to every young person. Furthermore, the main emphasis is on being biased towards the student’s academic background, race, or economic background.
Mike Tyson’s early education
Tyson’s formal education was limited, and he faced challenges throughout childhood and adolescence. Hence, Tyson’s philanthropic act of founding the TTA institution is significant since it gives him an opportunity, which he never received. Furthermore, growing up in the tough neighborhood of Brownsville, Brooklyn, Tyson had a difficult upbringing.

In addition, his early life was marked by poverty, crime, and an unstable family environment. Due to his troubled behavior, he was sent to a juvenile detention center, where he discovered his interest in boxing. Tyson’s education took a back seat as he dedicated himself to boxing under the mentorship of Cus D’Amato.
His focus shifted towards honing his skills in the ring, and he dropped out in the 10th grade. While his formal education was limited, Tyson received an education in the discipline, strategy, and dedication required in the world of professional boxing.
