Tyson Fury certainly knows how to live large, thanks to his substantial net worth. The heavyweight champion didn’t shy away from discussing his extravagant plans during an episode of the Netflix series “At Home with the Furys,” where he entertained the idea of purchasing a second private jet, much to the surprise of his wife, Paris.
“I need to buy a private jet. Another one for England,” to which Paris replied in a confused manner. “You own a jet?” Fury confirmed that he wants to get another for England. Paris, who has six children with her husband, seemed disappointed and unpleasant about buying a jet and said directly, “No, I’m not getting involved in that.” Tyson mentioned that he was sick of not being able to fly whenever he wanted to.
Paris, while talking about the budget to handle a jet, explained that it would cost a lot to make each trip in a jet. However, Fury wasn’t finished there and revealed that he wanted to buy Blackpool Airport and believed that the council would accept an offer. A furious Paris completely denied any prospect of getting a jet. But Fury wasn’t going to understand. He said, “I’m in the mood for buying.”
While Tyson Fury may be keen on acquiring another jet, he should rather be cautious about fighting Francis Ngannou, as his own promoter draws parallels between Ngannou’s power and that of Deontay Wilder.
Tyson Fury promoter confirms that Francis Ngannou is similar to Deontay Wilder when it comes to punching power
The highly anticipated clash between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou is on the horizon, scheduled for October 28th in Saudi Arabia. In this cross-platform boxing showdown, Fury holds the favorite’s position, but no one can underestimate the immense power that Ngannou brings to the ring.
The same goes with Fury’s promoter, Bob Arum, who mentioned in an interview, “Yeah, I think he can. I think he can. Obviously, Deontay has trained his whole life as a boxer so he had that in his favor. But it’s the same type of danger that Fury faces fighting Ngannou as when he fought Deontay Wilder. Tyson has shown resiliency with big punches, like Deontay Wilder. But notice they were able to knock him down, so, again, this fight can go the other way, if Tyson isn’t fully prepared.”
Many fight fans are claiming that this fight is just a money grab for both fighters but some also believe that it could be an interesting fight. Ngannou is currently training under the legendary Mike Tyson and he definitely has a chance to drop Fury in the initial rounds.
