Ahead of Amanda Serrano’s title fight, this April, Jake Paul hints what could possibly she can earn from the bout.
Serrano is all set to challenge Katie Taylor for her WBA, WBC, IBF, and The Ring lightweight titles on April 30 inside the Madison Square Garden in New York. The bout is considered a super fight as both Serrano and Tyler are very dominant female athletes in the whole Combat sports world.
Serrano is a seven-division world champion and has held gold in various weight classes. Currently, Serrano is undefeated in her last 28 fights and her last fight was against Miriam Gutiérrez which she won via unanimous decision. On the other hand, Taylor is a former Olympic gold medalist and after winning her WBA title in 2016 has defeated everybody and gathered all the titles under her name.
Recently Serrano signed a deal with Jake Paul’s management team BAVAFA Sports. This move was very crucial for the fighter as Paul has always been vocal about his interest in women’s boxing equality.

Paul was invited to The MMA Hour Show, hosted by Ariel Helwani where he discussed the super fight between Ananda Serrano vs Katie Taylor and his responsibility towards Serrano as her co-manager.
During the interview, Paul opened up about the fight purse that both the fighters would be getting and how it is a historic event for the representation of women in boxing. Paul explained that something like this has never occurred in the past and it will be a life-altering event for both the competitors.
“Yeah, they are getting paid in seven figures. Which is historic. It’s never happened for the women, guaranteed seven figures plus pay-per-views. Obviously, you know it’s gonna be a massive pay-per-view so this is life-changing I think for both girls and especially I know for Amanda Serrano,” said Paul.
According to Paul, it was absurd that a legendary fighter like Amanda Serrano was getting so little money for her fights. As a friend and as a manager it pushed him to better and provide her what she deserves.
