Pro-boxers Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou have agreed to fight each other in a heavyweight bout. This marks the Ex-UFC heavyweight’s second outing as a pro boxer, after the Riyadh Season opening ceremony. Ngannou, the 17-3 Cameroonian striker, aspires to improve on his 0-1 boxing statistics. As such, he recently, savagely took a dig at promoter Eddie Hearn‘s and Team Joshua’s ‘easy money’ comment.

Ergo, Ngannou is all geared up for the square-off. The fighter last locked horns with boxing’s lineal heavyweight, 34-0-1  Tyson Fury. Despite a decision skid, his athleticism as a debutant had rocked the whole of the combat sports bubble. But as per usual, fight fans have cast doubts on his ability to do so again. Here’s what Ngannou has to articulate on the matter:

"He got lucky last time." "He won't be able to block out the noise this time." “He can’t do it again, can he?”…We’ll see. Camp has started. #JoshuaNgannou

A recent reveal stated Ngannou’s fight purse to be a whopping $20 million (£15M), without including sponsorships and PPV. Despite a grandstand as a deserving and prominent fighter, the obscene amount adds to the shadow of doubt on his upcoming performance. The fighter made $600K ($3 million overall) in his last fight and hence has much to live up to.
