Influencer-boxer Jake Paul knocked out seasoned boxer Andre August on Saturday night, critically silencing his critics. Paul had attracted substantial heat for deviating from his usual discourse of crossovers and fighting a 10-1 boxer. August was one of his most experienced opponents to date. Now, he has called out UFC CEO Dana White in the aftermath.

Advancing to 8-1 with his 2:32 mark KO, Jake “Problem Child” Paul now has 5 knockouts under his belt. The boxer had aspired to turn “off the criticism,” which he did not falter from. Paul, a very recent PFL signage, makes his MMA debut in 2024. Thus addressing White, he said:

Of course, Dana is gonna say that to protect his business. But the UFC is falling. What big fights are they putting out? Their biggest star, and the heavyweight champion of their organization, came to the PFL for bigger opportunities.

White had recently weighed in against PFL acquiring major holding shares over Bellator MMA. He had critiqued the acquisitional union as “one sh*tty organization” – buying another. Paul however prompted the departure of heavyweight veterans like Francis Ngannou and others, who have since transitioned to PFL.

Recently, even Impa Kasanganay also thanked White for letting him go, non-satirically of course. Now, with his first-round uppercut victory, Paul also aims to bag a successful MMA transition next.

Jake Paul talks about future trajectory and MMA debut

Jake “Problem Child” Paul recently won a stunning victory against Andre August. The boxing bout was under the banner of DAZN Boxing. Franchon Crews-Dezurn became the World Boxing Council super middleweight champion over Shadasia Green on the same card.

Paul recently scuffled with Dana White on dismissing his new bankrolling promotion. Fighting under PFL’s fosterage, he makes his MMA debut in 2024, for which he had already begun training a month back. PFL helmsman Donn Davis had reported the same. Check out what the Ohio-born YouTuber, who has wrestling experience said on “Training jiu-jitsu” below.

Paul had caught much flack for reverting to an actual, albeit less known boxer for his ninth pro-boxing venture. But he shut off his critics diligently with the spectacle of a 1st round KO. Now, speaking at the PFL 2 2023 broadcast he has gisted down his future trajectory.
