Former WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO boxing champion of the world Anthony Joshua seems more than ready for his rematch against the current champion Oleksandr Usyk, with a little more threat in his already powerful hands. Joshua last fought in September 2021 when he lost in the first fight against Usyk, the former cruiserweight champion of the world via unanimous decision. Since then, Joshua has been training to fight Usyk again as he applied his rematch clause now.
Usyk was originally supposed to fight the current WBC and The Ring heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, but due to Fury and Usyk both having an unfinished business against British boxers, Dillian Whyte and Joshua himself respectively, both had to halt their aspiration of becoming the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world. After this, Usyk also briefly served in the Ukrainian army to defend his birth nation against the Russian invasion before returning to the UK for Joshua rematch.

Joshua has been training in Dubai for a very long time and seems like he is ready to finish the fight this time and turn the tides of the rematch in his favour. In the video below recorded originally by an event planner with Instagram handle @Omar_LDN, Joshua is seen hitting a punching machine that records his power to a shocking number of 887. This seems evident of Joshua putting in the necessary work to face Usyk the second time.
