In 2019, he will strive to repeat his triumph over Andy Ruiz Jr in the same country, Upon the same Joshua stated regarding the bout, “I now have my date with history set to become three-time unified heavyweight champion of the world. What an opportunity… A happy fighter is a dangerous fighter and I am the happiest and most motivated I’ve been.”
After announcing that his assistant coach Angel Fernandez has been elevated in a change to his training camp, Joshua has admitted that he got his tactics absolutely wrong the first time.
However, he has committed to correcting his mistakes. He stated at the Oxford Union “That was my game plan because I thought I could compete with him as a boxer.
