‘Classy’ Anthony Joshua offers to work with Francis Ngannou’s charity to help ‘African community’

Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou went head to head at the Knockout Chaos recently. AJ produced a spectacular knockout in the second round to attain victory. However, the former champion didn’t celebrate too much. He showed good sportsmanship and expressed his respect towards the Cameroonian fighter. Going one step ahead, he offered Ngannou a hand in helping the African people.
After Francis Ngannou recovered from the knockout, Anthony Joshua approached him to share a heartfelt message. Then, he proceeded to talk about doing charity work together. As such, he extended his thoughts about it at the post-fight press conference. Here is what he said:
If he hears this, in Cameroon, I know he's got his charity and his organization - Also, people that are trying to make it from Africa over to different continents, people are struggling. Furthermore, Anthony Joshua acknowledged Francis Ngannou wasn’t aware of what he spoke in the aftermath of the fight and noted his thoughts to his team. The boxers, from the fight announcement to the fight itself, showed no animosity and expressed utmost respect for each other. As such, one could expect AJ and Ngannou to collaborate and help the African people.
As announced by Eddie Hearn, Anthony Joshua potentially faces the winner of Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk next. So, he would aim to become a heavyweight champion again. As for Francis Ngannou, he was at a crossroads in terms of whether to return to MMA or persist with boxing.
Anthony Joshua believes Francis Ngannou beat Tyson Fury
Francis Ngannou lost his second boxing bout to Anthony Joshua at the Knockout Chaos. Addressing his loss to the press after the fight, ‘The Predator’ congratulated AJ on his win. As such, he mentioned he did something Tyson Fury couldn’t do, i.e., knock him out. This received a response from Joshua, who sat beside him.

Anthony Joshua interrupted Francis Ngannou and stated:
You beat Tyson, you know? You beat him.Anthony Joshua to Francis Ngannou
This was a commendable compliment from AJ, considering they were rivals. Also, this only reiterated the controversial decision of Fury vs. Ngannou.
Francis Ngannou went the whole ten rounds against the WBC champion Tyson Fury and even knocked him down in the fight. However, he lost via split decision. This decision remained controversial and is argued to this day. Now, Nagnnou lost to Anthony Joshua, putting him in a difficult boxing situation. Nonetheless, he looked affirmative about continuing his boxing career. However, he also wanted to resume his MMA career to potentially fight Renan Ferreira in the PFL next.
