Francis Ngannou and Anthony Joshua are set for their heavyweight clash on March 8 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The fight is significant for both fighters since the winner will challenge the undisputed heavyweight champion after the Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk fight. Furthermore, for Joshua, this means he can get the opportunity to become a two-time unified world champion. Subsequently, Ngannou’s fight against Joshua is his second professional boxing bout, which means he can get a title fight in his third fight.
Hence, a lot is at stake for the two heavyweight titans, and people are expecting an exciting fight between them. In addition, Francis Ngannou shocked the boxing world with his performance during his debut against undefeated champion Fury. During the fight, Ngannou managed to knock down Fury, which was shocking for most boxing fans and experts. However, Joshua was not surprised and stated:

Hence, during the recent DAZN faceoff, Joshua stated that he was not surprised after witnessing the Fury vs. Ngannou fight. Furthermore, Joshua justified this by stating that he had researched Ngannou and had seen Fury box several times.
Subsequently, Joshua claimed that if he fought Fury, there would be a lot of similarities and suggested that he could have also knocked him down. In addition, Joshua shot down the idea that Fury is one of the greatest heavyweights to exist.
Francis Ngannou thinks Anthony Joshua can’t handle him
Ngannou stunned the boxing world in his most recent bout against Fury. Subsequently, he was able to send Fury to the canvas, and he arguably almost won the fight. Hence, Ngannou is confident that Joshua won’t be able to get back up the way Fury did.
In addition, Ngannou mentioned that he had expected to knockdown Fury but also expected him to get back up. This is mainly because Fury has been able to get back up after being knocked out by fighters like Deontay Wilder. However, Ngannou doesn’t believe that Joshua will be able to get back up the way Fury did.
Joshua countered Ngannou’s statement by mentioning that several people have managed to knock down Fury.
