His skillset in the ring has been a force to be reckoned with for his opponents. ‘The Fearless’ has managed to amass a record of 20 wins, ten of those coming by way of knockout, in his professional boxing career. Being an undefeated fighter, Stevenson has been climbing the ranks in terms of skill and popularity.

Despite possessing a world champion-level skillset in boxing, ‘The Fearless” recently displayed his humility. Shakur Stevenson mentioned a humbling experience that a competitor gave him during a sparring session in the early days.

In an interview with the ‘Last Stand Podcast with Brian Custer,’ Shakur Stevenson exposes the sparring. ‘The Fearless’ revealed the competitor to be popular boxer, Terence Crawford. Stevenson said, “This dude [Terence Crawford] beat me up so bad, I swear to god that was the worst a** whooping I ever had,” referencing the old sparring. ‘ESPN Ringside’ took to Twitter to share the moment and had quickly gone viral.

Terence Crawford is said to be one of the best boxers in the lightweight and welterweight division. He is an undefeated prospect who had made a space for himself in the boxing community due to his brutal knockouts and career highlights.

Errol Spence vs. Terence Crawford is one of the most anticipated fights in modern-day boxing. Despite the fight negotiations falling through, fans make their predictions on the winner of the fight. Shakur Stevenson, who is known to be close with both Crawford and Spence, gave his predictions on the winner and tried to stay unbiased.

On the ‘Last Stand Podcast with Brian Custer,’ the fighter was asked his opinions on it. Stevenson answered, “I think it’s dog versus dog. I feel like both of them are mentally strong dudes. They both got killer instincts in them. They both willing to go to war. At the end of the day, we might see a war. And, they both got boxing skills too. I don’t know, I’m just excited to see the fight. I got much respect for Errol and ‘Bud’ but, I can’t wait to see the fight.

Following the statement, Brian Custer pressed on his winner of the bout. To which, a hesitant Shakur Stevenson said, “Bud my brother, I love my brother. I’m always gonna stick with my brother regardless. At the end of the day, Errol being real good to me too. Bud is like somebody that has been with me, hands-on, every day. I gotta stand behind my brother.

Ultimately, a hesitant Shakur Stevenson predicted that Terence Crawford would win his bout against Errol Spence. ‘The Fearless’ backs Crawford, as he has supported and helped him in his career.
