While several people have expressed their concern for Garcia, many boxers have volunteered to replace him. As such, boxers like Conor Benn and Shakur Stevenson have expressed their willingness to fight Haney if Garcia pulls out. However, Bill shot this idea down completely and believes that it will not be necessary.
Bill also spoke about how Stevenson has been actively speaking about replacing Ryan Garcia. In addition, Stevenson mentioned that he reached out to Bill Haney for this. Bill confirmed this but stated that Stevenson only speaks about fights but does not secure or actually make them happen.
