The match between Logan Paul and Dillon Danis is in serious jeopardy after the stage altercation. Logan Paul was bloodied and escorted off the premises. At the final press before their slated match, Paul threw a microphone at Danis. The latter retaliated by attacking Paul with a microphone that cut him open. The two were to face each other at MF & DAZN: X Series 10 on October 14. However, the current status remains unknown.
The strike seemed to have bounced and nailed Paul on the head. Logan Paul could not move his head out of the way as Danis landed clean. Both of them were hurried away from the stage after the altercation happened. However, Paul covered his face while going backstage. He drew blood in the tussle. If the cut is serious, the Athletic Commission in England might not allow Paul to box on October 14.
The open hostility between the two was nothing new. They have squared off verbally against each other many times. The BJJ star posted overt and explicit content on Paul’s fiance, Nina Agdal. This wild off-ring bout does spawn a lot of uncertainty ahead of the matchup. If Paul needed stitches, the trajectory of the match could change.
Eventually, Danis could delve into more legal troubles himself. Previously, Paul and his fiance sued the fighter for online harassment. Paul also revealed his plans to bankrupt him in legal proceedings, hitting him with a restraining order. Paul’s corner is yet to react to the situation officially. While Danis has clarified that trolling the couple was only for fight promotions, things could turn differently.
Fans react to Dillon Danis and Logan Paul brawl before boxing matchup
The highly anticipated match between Dillon Danis and Logan Paul has drawn blood even before approaching the ring. Danis and Paul got into a physical altercation at the final press conference for the Misfits boxing matchup. Danis resorted to using a microphone to attack Paul’s face in response to him throwing something. Both of them were scuttled away by security soon enough.
The two will meet at Manchester’s AO Arena for the MF & DAZN: X Series 10 boxing match. But things took a turn when things got physical at the press conference. During exiting, Paul was clutching his face. With the clinical course taking a serious turn, the match could get postponed or canceled if Paul decides to pull out. However, fans had their own reactions to it.
Fight promoter Mams Taylor could not provide any official details regarding the situation. The boxer’s corner has not yet responded officially. It is still unclear whether the match will still take place.
