Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather wants to sign Francis Ngannou for his boxing debut
After leaving the UFC, Francis Ngannou has not signed any deal for a new fight. Floyd Mayweather is impressed and wants to sign Ngannou for boxing bouts.

Former UFC Heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou has not fought since January 2022. After disappointing contract extension talks with the UFC that resulted in a stalemate, Ngannou vacated his title and left the company. UFC legend Chael Sonnen has blasted Ngannou numerous times for not re-signing with the UFC. However, boxing royalty and promoter Floyd Mayweather has supported Ngannou and wants to work with Francis Ngannou.
Floyd Mayweather said, “I would love to work with him. I would love to sign him to Mayweather Promotions. He’s a very skilled guy, he was unbelievable from the highlights I was able to see in MMA, and if he wants to fight one of the top heavyweight guys, he should do it. With his size, his strength, and his power, anything can happen. He’s powerful, and with his power and his toughness, he’s able to make some noise in the heavyweight division.“
Francis Ngannou left the UFC intending to fight Tyson Fury or Deontay Wilder. After defeating Dillian Whyte last year, Fury let Ngannou into the ring to promote a potential boxing fight. At the time, Ngannou was the UFC Heavyweight champion. However, once Ngannou left the UFC and vacated the Heavyweight title, Fury was not interested in fighting him.
There were also discussions with the camp of Deontay Wilder, and rumours suggested that the fight could happen in Africa. However, no further details have emerged since Ngannou’s interview with Brett Okamoto. Hopefully, Ngannou and Mayweather can work out some deal to get the big fights in the Heavyweight division.

Mayweather said, “I’m going to have ‘Tank’ in the best shape of his life. And just know that when I hit that kid, he won’t wake up until next year.” Tank has insane knockout power, and Garcia has never fought someone of Davis’s skill. He warns that after getting knocked out, Garcia will only wake up next year.
Mayweather has decided on his pick. The fight will happen this weekend in the first mega-boxing clash of the year. Boxing fans look forward to seeing which one will emerge victorious with no blemish to their records.
