“There will be serious consequences” – British Muslim boxer Amir Khan’s wife gets threat from Israeli contact to cease supporting Palestine

Amir Khan is a British professional boxer who gained prominence in boxing. Furthermore, Khan is married to Faryal Makhdoom, a British-American model and social media personality. The couple got married in 2013 in a high-profile wedding ceremony that was well documented.
Amir Khan‘s wife, Makhdoom, has now been negatively involved in the Israel-Palestine conflict after receiving a WhatsApp text from an Israeli company. Makhdoom received a warning letter from an Israeli organization offering to pay her “lucrative compensation” if she supports Israel and not Palestine. In addition, the message stated:
Let's make this quite simple. If you support Israel and cease posting about Palestine, we will ensure you are rewarded lucratively. If you don't, or if this is publicized, there will be severe consequences. Your choice, Mrs. Faryal. Take care.
She posted a screenshot of a WhatsApp message she got recently on X (formerly known as Twitter). The screenshot shared showed that the organization did not merely offer incentives.
They also warned Makhdoom of dire consequences if she refused to abide by their requests or if she disclosed this message. Despite receiving a cyber threat, it appears that Makhdoom’s support for the cause of the Palestinians is unaffected.
Since the start of the war between Israel and Hamas, Makhdoom, the owner of a well-known makeup brand, has been active on social media, expressing her support for the Palestinians. When it comes to the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict, Khan said that people are too scared to speak up for the Palestinians.
Fans react to Amir Khan’s wife getting death threats
The Israel-Palestine conflict has been a global concern because of the loss of life on both sides. Israel has been suffering “terrorist attacks” from the militant group Hamas. Subsequently, Israel has been repeatedly bombing Gaza to subdue Hamas, who are trying to reclaim their land.
The issue is mainly a humanitarian issue but has attracted both Jewish and Muslim people. Hence, people are mostly supporting their religion and ethnicity, which is being affected by this conflict.
Similarly, Khan and his wife have been vocally supporting the people of Palestine and have shown their support for them. Even after receiving cyber-death threats, Khan’s wife seems unfazed and remains fearless about expressing her voice.
The conflict has divided people into two sides. Most people considered the WhatsApp message or screenshot to be fake, or maybe propaganda to acquire support for Palestine. However, many appreciated Makhdoom for using her voice to stand up for the people of Palestine.
