YouTuber Jake Paul and UFC fighter Nate Diaz went on a 10-round war at American Airlines Center on August 5th. Paul emerged victorious in the boxing match by unanimous decision. In the post-match press conference of this fight, Paul called out Canelo Alvarez. In a recent interview, Alvarez was asked about the YouTuber’s callout and his opinion on Jake Paul.

Alvarez seemed unfazed by The Problem Child’s callout. He said, “My level is another level. But look, I think he needs to enjoy what he’s doing and that’s it. He needs to calm down and start calling out people with other levels. I think he needs to focus on what he’s doing. He’s doing good things. He needs to enjoy his fights.”

Canelo Alvarez is a gigantic name in the sport of boxing. The fighter has a record of 59 wins with two losses and two draws. His record speaks about his greatness. Canelo’s name has been on the lip of many big fighters like Jermall Charlo and Terence Crawford.

He needs a little more experience on his resume according to Alvarez. Paul has asked for three years to make him capable of competing with Alvarez.

Canelo Alvarez has finally spoken about why his rematch against Dmitry Bivol has not taken place yet. Without giving a reason why it didn’t work, Canelo said that he tried but Bivol started demanding things.

Bivol reportedly wanted to move weight from 168 lbs to 175 lbs, so that Canelo couldn’t use the excuse of his natural weight. Canelo is used to competing at his natural weight of 168 lbs. He has experienced a lot of success in the super middleweight division. But for his Bivol fight, Canelo fought at 175 lbs at Bivol’s natural weight. Bivol won the fight against Canelo which many boxing fans call a ‘one-sided’ fight.

A rematch against Bivol is going to keep a lot of Canelo fans in awe. Further, Canelo has spoken about his interest in this rematch which increases the chances of this fight working. Meanwhile, Canelo is set to fight Jermell Charlo on September 30.
