Canelo Alvarez will defend his IBF, WBA, and IBO super middleweight titles on September 30 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Subsequently, he will square off against the undisputed junior middleweight champion, Jermell Charlo.
Charlo currently holds the IBF, WBC, WBO, and WBA titles. The matchup between Alvarez and Charlo remains perfect since both are currently undisputed champions in their respective divisions. Currently, both of them are training hard for the fight, and Canelo was spotted singing while effortlessly training. People felt this reflected how confident and laid-back Alvarez’s mindset remains for this fight.
Subsequently, many fans felt that Charlo would not have the upper hand in this fight. Especially since he was jumping two divisions higher in terms of weight for this bout.
