Canelo Alvarez will defend his undisputed super middleweight champion title against the undisputed light middleweight champion, Jermell Charlo. Furthermore, Charlo will get his first crack at the legendary Mexican boxer.
The four-title champion recently revealed that the highly anticipated bout has been brewing for years. Alvarez considered him a good matchup since both were undisputed champions in the light and super middleweight divisions. Canelo Alvarez said, “He’s been calling me out for a long time. And I hear he’s talking a lot of things and I never forget. Canelo’s going down, Canelo can’t do this, Canelo can’t do that. He never believed in my skills. But guess what? He’s gonna find out”.
Alvarez felt that the Charlo brothers had always doubted his skills, and he was eager to prove them wrong. Subsequently, Alvarez mentioned that he prepared for this fight with all the necessary preparations. Alvarez has been fighting in the world of professional boxing for the last 18 years but still believes in himself.
Charlo is four inches taller than Alvarez but has never weighed over 155 in any of his fights. Furthermore, Charlo will also be making his return to the ring after a 16-month absence when he takes on Alvarez. Can the American champion shock the Mexican legend?
Demetrius Andrade fires shots at Canelo Alvarez for avoiding him

Demetrius Andrade has wanted to fight Alvarez since 2021 and has been calling him out ever since. Furthermore, Andrade even confronted Alvarez after his fight with Billy Joe Saunders at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
David Benavidez recently beat Caleb Plant in March and potentially targets Andrade next. In an interview with Fight Hub TV, Andrade was asked about his thoughts on this potential fight match. Subsequently, Andrade commented that Canelo Alvarez ducked him any chance he got. Furthermore, Andrade stated he was here to take on the biggest challenge, even if it was not Canelo. Subsequently, Andrade and Benavidez might fight each other if the negotiations goes well.
The bout is expected for Benavidez’s WBC Interim super middleweight title. However, whether Canelo Alvarez will face the fight’s victor is uncertain, provided he will defeat Charlo.
