Chris Eubank is a renowned British boxing legend known for winning world titles in two weight classes. He amassed a professional record of 45-5-2 with 23 knockouts in his professional boxing career. In an interview with BBC Radio 5, Eubank claimed he held something closer to his heart than his 19 championships. This became a shocking claim.

In this interview, Eubank said, “We are not allowed to be normal. I’ve been in fights where I wanted to wet myself because the beating was so bad. But I had no choice, why? Because integrity doesn’t allow it. No one stopped that fight when I went 12 rounds with Carl Thompson. No one actually felt sorry for me either. What is this, feeling sorry for fighters because they’re hurt? You’re supposed to get hurt! I don’t show my 19 championship wins, all those pictures, I show people this( a picture of a wounded-up Eubank). This is my badge of honor. That’s my championship.

Eubank was brutally hurt in this twelve-round fight, but he held his ground until the final bell. Thompson, his opponent, went on to win the fight but Eubank left the boxing arena with much found respect.
